Getting started

What is the current product?
The current sellable product is a supervised AI Receptionist. After separate activation, configured capabilities can answer inbound calls, capture leads and messages, and capture appointment requests.
Is setup or activation automatic?
No. Business setup, phone provisioning, forwarding, a manual test call, review, and activation are separate supervised steps. No fixed setup time is promised.
Do I need to change my number?
Not necessarily. Phone provisioning is separate, and forwarding remains a step you control with your carrier. OnCall does not change forwarding automatically.
Is Eva the required employee name?
No. Eva is a configured demo Receptionist persona. Customers can use a safe configured Receptionist name; the product fallback is AI Receptionist.

Capabilities and control

What can the AI Receptionist do?
Configured capabilities can include inbound call answering after activation, lead and message capture, qualification based on saved configuration, and appointment-request capture when configured. Appointment booking is not guaranteed.
How do callbacks work?
The Receptionist can create a callback task. A human reviews and completes callbacks; forwarding and callbacks remain human-controlled.
Does it include outbound campaigns or automated follow-up?
No. AI Sales Caller, outbound campaigns, Follow-Up real-send, and automated SMS or email sequences are excluded from the current AI Receptionist offer.
How do notifications work?
The product can attempt owner notifications according to saved readiness and consent. Delivery may be sent, skipped, or failed and is not guaranteed.
Does every lead automatically reach my CRM?
No automatic CRM delivery is guaranteed. Review the current integration configuration and delivery evidence separately.
Does it guarantee results?
No. Calls, leads, appointment requests, notification delivery, transfers, revenue, savings, and other results are not guaranteed.

Pricing and billing

What does it cost?
Inbound usage is $0.24 per billable minute, rounded up. The platform fee is $39/month after a 30-day platform-fee waiver. The first phone number is $1 to activate after supervised provisioning and then $10/month. The minimum Wallet top-up is $50.
Is usage included in the waiver?
No. The 30-day waiver applies only to the platform fee. Billable inbound usage and applicable phone charges still apply.
How can I estimate cost?
Use the Receptionist-only estimator on the pricing page. Estimates are examples, not guarantees, and depend on completed billable inbound minutes and selected configuration.
Does signup activate service or buy a number?
No. Billing, phone provisioning, forwarding, testing, review, and activation are separate supervised actions.

Operating the pilot

What if an answer is wrong?
Review available call evidence, report the incorrect answer in the dashboard, update saved training or knowledge, and contact OnCall through the published support channel. Repair timing and non-recurrence are not guaranteed.
Can I pause or stop?
Use saved pause controls when available, manage forwarding with your carrier, and contact OnCall through the published support channel for service-side help.
What should I review in the first week?
Review recent calls, callback tasks, unanswered questions, notification readiness, Wallet credit, and any incorrect answers.
