How it works

A supervised path to an AI Receptionist.

The current offer answers inbound calls only after separate activation. Phone provisioning, forwarding, manual testing, review, and activation remain distinct steps with clear owners.

01

Review your business and Receptionist profile

Add and review services, hours, knowledge, identity, qualification settings, and appointment-request handling.

02

Request supervised phone setup

Phone provisioning is separate. No number is purchased or activated merely by creating an account.

03

Control forwarding and make a manual test call

You manage forwarding with your carrier. Test the configured experience manually when the launch guidance says the number is ready.

04

Submit for review and await activation

OnCall reviews readiness separately. Activation is not automatic and no fixed setup time is promised.

Common questions

Is setup or activation automatic?
No. Business setup, phone provisioning, forwarding, a manual test call, review, and activation are separate supervised steps. No fixed setup time is promised.
Do I need to change my number?
Not necessarily. Phone provisioning is separate, and forwarding remains a step you control with your carrier. OnCall does not change forwarding automatically.
What can the AI Receptionist do?
Configured capabilities can include inbound call answering after activation, lead and message capture, qualification based on saved configuration, and appointment-request capture when configured. Appointment booking is not guaranteed.
How do callbacks work?
The Receptionist can create a callback task. A human reviews and completes callbacks; forwarding and callbacks remain human-controlled.
Does every lead automatically reach my CRM?
No automatic CRM delivery is guaranteed. Review the current integration configuration and delivery evidence separately.
